All About Illusen

Illusen is an Earth faerie living happily in her glade in Meridell.

She needs some errands done so once you accept her quest she'll ask you for one item which you must bring her in a specified period of time (usually about 16 minutes). If you manage to do that you move on to the next quest, a bit more difficult than the previous one (all in all there are 50 levels). Unfortunately after the 35th level she'll start asking for items with a rarity 99+ so the quests will become rather difficult to fulfill in those few minutes. In order to stimulate your enthusiasm though Illusen will give you a prize every few quests, each more valuable than the other. As a last thing, you can only do a quest each 12 hours, and also have to let at least 12 hours pass since the last quest you did for Jhudora.

For each quest you fulfill you also get a number of points, depending on how fast you returned with the item. These points sum up and if you get a high enough number you can also get one of these trophies:



Last but not least, if you fail to bring the requested item you go back to the 1st quest.

All about the Random Quest Faeries

Across Neopia there are a bunch of faeries who, when seeing you browsing innnocently around the site, like to ask certain items of you. These quests are a bit hard to fulfill as while on a such faerie quest you are not allowed to use the Shop Wizard. You can refuse to do the quest, which might be a good idea if you're not a battledomer. After all almost all faeries reward you with stats increases which are fairly useless to you if you don't play the Battledome.

Here's a list of all faeries, what they want and what they offer as a reward:
The Air Faerie

She's a bit vain so she likes requesting for beauty products. If you fulfill her quest she'll raise Movement to one or all of your pets.

The Dark Faerie

She requires test subject for her spells, namely toys. It will reward you by raising HP of one or all of your pets

The Earth Faerie

She'll ask for magic items, including potions. As a reward she'll give one/all of your pets a grand feast, making it/them bloated.

The Fire Faerie

Being surrounded by fire all the time some of her clothes catch fire from time to time so she'll ask you for new ones. She raises strength of one or all of your pets.

The Light Faerie

She asks you for Trading Cards and in exchange raises the level of one or all of your pets.

The Water Faerie

It's a hungry for knowledge faerie so she asks for books. If you bring her the one you requested she'll increase Defense for one or all of your pets.

The Faerie Queen

As you may imagine she's the most important faerie and as such she gives very rarely quests. She asks for very expensive items but she also gives out multiple increases of your pets stats :)

All about Taelia

Taelia is the Snow Faerie, living on top of Terror Mountain.

Her ideal pastime (understandable given she is a faerie) is concocting spells. Because of that she's always in need of ingredients and that's where you come in :)

If you agree to help her she'll give you a quest, namely to bring her up to four items. There is a time limit for this quest, but it's long enough not to bother you. If you don't want to complete her quest you just come back after the time limit is through. If you do complete the quest though you'll get some item, a snowball and around 2000 NP (which is why you shouldn't bother if she asks you for expensive items, I'd say you spend at most 2500 NP on her). When you complete your very first quest you also get Taelia as a battledome challenger (though I don't imagine why you would like to beat up such a nice faerie) and the avatar below:

All about the Brain Tree

The Brain Tree is, as you've probably realized, a tree. It can be found in the Haunted Woods.

It takes pleasure in giving quests to the visiting pets, such as:

Rebecca Gelert died a long time ago, and I need to know where, and when, for my records. You must go and find this information out. Return to me within 0 hours and 53 mins, and I shall give you a prize.

Of course the name varies every time but the question is the exact same. No one in Neopia has ever heard about *insert character's name here*, no one but the Esophagor. To make him tell you the answer you just have to finish two of its own quests (he asks for various items), each providing you with half an answer:

The Esophagor says 'Rebecca Gelert dieeddd innn thhee yeeear 31 BN. Geett mee morre foodd anndd I wwiill telll yoou thee pllaaceee...'

The Esophagor says 'Rebecca Gelert dieeddd iinn Skull Rock'

Now that you have both the answers you can go to the Brain Tree and answer its questions (be careful to enter only what is underlined). You'll get a random number of neopoints and a random magical item (valuable or not). Good luck :)
