All About Neggs

Basically, neggs are only food. Not any kind of food though. When eaten, most of them have some effect on your neopet, such as raising a stat or another.

You can find neggs via random events, as reward for certain quests, or you can get them for the Neggery. Some of them (the lesser ones) also restock in shops. Almost all neggs have a certain token value (meaning they can be exchanged for a sum of negg tokens at the Neggery; those negg tokens are practically a sort of currency, as you can trade other neggs, more valuable, on them)

List of neggs which affect your Neopet one way or another:

- Happy Negg (costs 4 tokens) - makes your pet feel happier
- Glamour Negg (7 tokens) - makes your pet happier and gives it an item but decreases its intelligence
- Smiley Negg (9 tokens) - makes your pet happier
- Negg of Purity +1 (10 tokens) - can increase your pet's defense
- Pumpkin Negg (12 tokens) - can alter your pet's height and weight
- Blue Furry Negg (15 tokens) - heals your pet up to 5 HP
- Sweet Heart Negg (18 tokens) - receive a random item, usually an ice cream
- Crystal Negg (22 tokens) - heals 8 HP of your pet
- Ghost Negg (22 tokens) - can decrease HP
- Genius Negg (24 tokens) - increases your pet's intelligence plus gives it a random book
- Vortex Negg (24 tokens) - can change the color of your pet to one of the four basic colors
- Christmas Tree Negg (27 tokens) - heals your pet for 20 HP
- Staring Negg (30 tokens) - decreases pet's intelligence by 10 points
- Bang Bang Negg (33 tokens) - gives away random snowballs
- Fireball Negg (34 tokens) - battledome weapon, 4 fire icons damage (one use)
- Icestorm Negg (34 tokens) - battledome weapon, 3 water icons and 1 physical icon damage (one use)
- Spinning Negg (36 tokens) - gives your pet the Air Shield Ability
- Basic Power Negg (39 tokens) - may increase one of the pet stats
- Evil Negg (42 tokens) - battledome weapon, 3 dark icons and 1 physical icon damage (one use)
- Witchy Negg (48 tokens) - can raise your pet's intelligence or HP, can cure your pet of any disease, can change your pet's gender or can turn your pet into a Lenny, Tuskaninny or Moehog
- Kaleideonegg (52 tokens) - can change your pet's stats, color, species or gender
- Faerie Queen Negg (57 tokens) - increases your pet's HP by 1
- Rainwater Negg (61 tokens) - gives your pet the Steam Shield ability
- Confusionegg (64 tokens) - gives your pet the Psychic ability
- Radioactive Negg (66 tokens) - increases the level of a random ability
- Silver Knight Negg (72 tokens) - increases defense by 1
- Power Negg (79 tokens) - increases strength by 1
- Cracked Negg (90 tokens) - battledome item, may restore your pet to full health, restore only 3 HP or inflict 3 damage on your pet
- Cackling Negg (96 tokens) - gives pet the Shadow Health ability
- Plaid Negg (108 tokens) - increases a random ability of your pet or changes your pet's color
- Ferocious Negg (124 tokens) - increases your pets strength but also gives it a random disease
- Snegg (126 tokens) - increases HP and movement points
- Spiked Negg (195 tokens) - increases HP
- Super Negg (210 tokens) - increases Level, HP, and movement points
- Cool Negg (247 tokens) - increases Level, HP, movement and strength
- Basic Healing Negg (obtained from the Bag of Infinite Neggs) - battledome item, heals 5 HP
